42 teachers attend GNDU orientation

Amritsar, January 11

A four-week orientation programme concluded at the UGC-Human Resource Development Centre of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) here today. As many as 42 universities and college teachers participated enthusiastically in the event.

Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor, said the programmes launched by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development were conducted by the Faculty Development Centre set-up by the UGCunder the aegis of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on teachers and teaching across the country.

A Faculty Development Centre has been allocated to the GNDU, he added.
