Training programme at GND varsity

Amritsar, February 12

A large number of architects, engineers, building professionals, students and faculty attended a capacity building training programme on Punjab Energy Conservation Buildings Codes (ECBC) at the seminar hall of Department of Architecture, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU).

The programme was organised in collaboration with Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) and Design2Occupancy Services LLP (D2O).

Dean Student’s Welfare Prof SS Behl was the chief guest. He said more such programmes should to be organised in order to create awareness about energy conservation.

Akshay Kumar Gupta, ECBC master trainer, talked about its scope and administration, interior and exterior lighting and building envelop and introduction to building physics on this occasion.

Meenakshi Singhal, head, department of architecture, welcomed the guests and other dignitaries. — TNS
