No entrance test for MBA courses at regional centre

Celebrating its three decades of successful educational journey in the Malwa region, Punjabi University’s regional centre, Bathinda, has provided an opportunity to aspirants to get admissions to MBA courses without an entrance test.

The centre set up in 1984 to improve the literacy level of the Bathinda region offers master courses in English, Punjabi and economics, besides Mphil in Punjabi. It also offers MBA courses.

The authorities have eased the norms for taking admission to MBA courses. It will enable the aspirants, especially from rural areas, to get admission without going through any online admission process. 

Aspirants will get admission to the MBA course on the basis of marks obtained them in BBA, BCom, BCA, BA or any other graduate examination. The students can now directly visit the Punjabi University’s regional centre and get admission to MBA courses.

Dr Balwinder Kaur Sidhu, head, Post Graduate Studies, Punjabi University’s regional centre said  the move would enable local students to avail the golden chance of taking admission to MBA courses without an entrance test at the earliest.
