Tech varsity comes up with new courses

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, has come up with new degree courses from the academic session 2019-20 to attract engineering aspirants.

For giving an impetus to interdisciplinary needs of the industry and better job prospectus of its qualified engineers, the MRSPTU in its 3rd meeting of Standing Academic Council under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Mohan Paul Singh Ishar has given approval to start BTech (Hons) and BTech (minor engineering) from the academic session that will begin in July 2019.

In a press release issued here today, university spokesman said, “A student will be eligible to get an undergraduate degree with honors or additional minor engineering if he or she completes an additional 20 credits, which can be obtained through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCS).”
