An educational camp, ‘Masti Ki Pathshala’, was organised for underprivileged children at Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School in Sector 20 here today.

The camp was organised by senior citizens to empower the students from Class VI to Class X and inculcate self-confidence, moral values, logical and reasoning skills, leadership skills, creativity and self-responsibility in them. Renu Gupta (Principal) and three teachers — Priti Malik, Meenakshi Jaiswal and Sunita Sharma — extended their support.

BB Sharma, Press Secretary, Forum for Senior Citizens in Education, said the camp helped the children enhance their personality. Various activities were planned which included sports events, team building tasks, role plays, best-out-of-waste, and several other creative tasks.

Ishwar Singh Mann, former DEO, Ambala was the chief guest. He applauded the efforts made by the forum to organise the camp.
