Online access to property details for PUDA allottees

Told to create user ID, register mobile number in office records

In a bid to provide online access to their properties allotted across the state by the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) and other special development authorities, the department has extended an opportunity to the owners to create username/user ID and register their mobile number in office records.

The move is largely aimed at facilitating the property owners. After creating their user ID and registering their mobile number, property owners will be able to get the latest information in shape of short message services (SMS) pertaining to various services being provided by the authorities on their mobile numbers.

The facility will also provide time to time update to allottees about the status of their applications submitted to offices of various development authorities and also intimate them about the pending installments and any other dues pertaining to their properties.

Notably, the department has already initiated the process to update the details of allottees/owners in its property ledgers from the information available in the office records. The allottees can register their mobile numbers after creating a unique username and user ID up to June 30 this year by visiting the websites of development authorities. In case, there would be some change in the details, the same would be updated in the process.

“The allottees, who will fail to register or update their mobile numbers/ details, may not be able to avail some of the services being rendered in the offices of various special development authorities,” said the department’s spokesperson.

He said complete information regarding the process to generate the username/user ID and registration of mobile number has been made available on the websites of PUDA and all other special development authorities.
