Varsity prof to attend workshop in UK

Chandigarh, June 13

A delegation of eight scientists, led by policy expert Prof Rupinder Tewari, Coordinator, DST Centre for Policy Research, PU, will be visiting the UK to participate in a workshop on ‘Science, technology, innovation (sti) policy for turbulent times’ to be held at the University of Sussex, Brighton, from June 17 to June 21. 

The visit will help the scientists to understand the STI policy of the UK and identify good practices that can be emulated in the Indian system. Other delegates have been chosen from the IIT-Delhi, IISc-Bangalore and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University.
