Workshop on RTI at PU

Chandigarh, June 8

A two-day national workshop on ‘RTI: Awareness, issues and challenges’, organised by the Centre for Academic Leadership and Education Management (CALEM), PU, under the aegis of Pandit Madan Mohan Malwiya National Mission for Teachers Training (PMMMNMTT) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), concluded here today.

Administrative heads, principals, teachers of educational institutions, administrative and non-administrative staff dealing with RTI attended the workshop.

Prof Devinder Singh was the programme director for the workshop. Dr Jatinder Grover, CALEM coordinator, and Dr Jyoti Rattan, programme coordinator, said the aim was to enable the participants with the understanding of the law relating to RTI. The participants were addressed by resource persons from various fields. — TNS
