At IGI, man caught smuggling phones

New Delhi: A man has been arrested by Customs officials at the IGI airport here for allegedly trying to smuggle mobile phones, worth Rs 63 lakh into the country. The accused was intercepted after his arrival from Guangzhou in China on Tuesday. His baggage and personal search resulted in the recovery of 204 illegally imported mobile phones of different brands, a statement issued on Monday by Customs department said. PTI
