CBI court summons Hooda

Panchkula, December 5

The Special CBI Court on Wednesday ordered issuance of notice of appearance to former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in the case pertaining to reallotment of land to Associated Journals Limited (AJL).

Special CBI Judge Jagdeep Singh ordered the appearance of Hooda, senior Congress leader Motilal Vora and the AJL, publisher of the National Herald, in court on January 3 next.

The CBI court issued the orders on Wednesday after completing scrutiny of chargesheet filed by the CBI on December 1. The CBI had filed the chargesheet in connection with the reallotment of land in 2005. — TNS
