The Haryana Government on Thursday suspended Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Chairman BB Bharti after a row over objectionable questions on Brahmins in the recently held JE examinations.

The decision was taken after Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a meeting with Brahmin organisations here.

Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma told reporters that a commission of inquiry would be constituted after consultation with the Advocate General. Besides, an FIR has been being lodged against the firm which prepared the question paper, he said.
