Mandi, September 12

State president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Vishal Chauhan said the morcha was organising a rally in Kangra on September 22 which would be addressed by national BJP president Amit Shah. The BJP chief will seek support of the people for the party in the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.

He said all preparations were under way and around 1 lakh workers across the state would throng the venue. “It will be a rally sponsored by the common man, who will contribute as per their capacity for which the BJYM has prepared tickets ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 50,” he said. He said the collected amount would be spent on providing free transport facility to people from their native place to the venue of rally.

Targeting the Chief Minister over money laundering case, he said the Chief Minister and his family were out on bail. During the Congress regime, corruption increased manifold and mafia become active to plunder the state, he claimed.

“The law and order situation is deteriorating day by day, where a forest guard was found dead under mysterious circumstances. Police officials of the special investigation team for Kotkhai gang rape are under arrest,” he said.
