BJP executive meeting postponed

Shimla, April 20

BJP state general secretary Chander Mohan Thakur today informed that in view of the PM’s rally at the historic Ridge Ground in Shimla on April 27, the meeting of the state executive slated for April 25, 26 and 27 has been postponed.

The Visit of PM Modi on April 27 would definitely strengthen the party for the upcoming Shimla Municipal Corporation elections slated in the end of May.

The BJP has also welcomed the decision of the Union government to end VIP culture by making it mandatory to remove red beacon from the vehicles. In a joint statement issued here former BJP state chief, who is also the local MLA Suresh Bhardwaj and former MLA Rakesh Verma, have urged legislators and bureaucrats to remove the beacons. — TNS
