Youth fest begins on colourful note

Hamirpur, April 16

“Youth festivals help preserve our rich culture,” said MLA Narender Thakur, while inaugurating the third state youth festival of Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) at Gautam College, on Monday. 

He said through such festivals, youngsters showcased their talent. As many as 250 students from over 23 colleges are participating in the youth festival. Events like group dance, solo dance, free style dance and folk dances will be held. On Monday, students performed nati, bhangra and bihu. — OC
