BJP Mayor Arun Khosla was presiding over the meeting. Block Congress Committee president-cum-Congress councillor, Sanjeev Bugga, Ram Paul Uppal, Gurbchan Singh Walia, Jatinder Vermani and BSP councillor Ramesh Kaul, levelled allegations of corruption against Khosla. On the contrary, the Mayor denied the allegations. Opposition councillors alleged that despite assurances given by the Mayor at the last meeting no item of development could be included in the agenda. They torn the copies of the agenda, in which 22 items, excluding development, were included.
