Gursawan gets AIR 216 in AIIMS

City student Gursawan Kaur has got All-India Rank 216 in the entrance test to All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducted this year.

She is the daughter of an official from training institute of Jalandhar Central Cooperative Bank, Dr Balwinder Singh.

She had scored 3,686 rank in NEET. Gursawan had scored 96 per cent in CBSE Class XII examination and is now hopeful of getting a seat in AIIMS Bhopal.

Gursawan, who was all praise for her teachers at Knowledge Campus here, said she studied up to Class X in St Joseph’s Convent School and thereafter in MGN Public School, Urban Estate.

Two brothers – Osho Arora and Ish Arora, both sons of child-specialist based at Phagwara, Dr Chiman Arora, have attained 560th and 612th ranks, respectively.

While Ish has excelled earlier in NEET exam where he attained 263rd rank, Osho had then trailed with 2,663 rank.
