Jalandhar, June 14

Residents of Shahkot sub-division today took part in a unique initiative, ‘Walk Against Drugs’, organised under the Drug Abuse Prevention Officer (DAPO) programme initiated by the Punjab Government.

Led by Shahkot Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Charumita, hundreds of residents walked for five kms.

The walk began from DSP’s office and covered Main Bazaar, Gandhi Chowk, Ramgarhia Chowk, Mohalla Bagh Wala, Civil Hospital road, Malsian Road, Moga Road and other areas before culminating back at DSP’s office.
