Sikhs for probe into KP packages

Srinagar: The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) on Thursday demanded that a high-level probe should be ordered into doling out “secret packages” to the members of the Kashmiri Pandit community, especially after the onset of militancy in the Valley. In a statement, APSCC chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said the probe should be carried out by a team comprising “seasoned MPs” or by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court. Raina alleged that the successive governments in the state and Centre had been “very kind enough to Kashmiri Pandits by sanctioning packages for them at the cost of majority Muslim community and minority Sikh community”.
