SBI Youth for India Fellowship

SBI Youth for India is a fellowship programme initiated, funded and managed by the State Bank of India as a CSR activity, looking for bright minds to join rural development projects in association with reputed NGOs to work with rural communities and participate in the growth of Indian grass roots. The fellowship offers a wide range of projects that cover the entire gamut of rural development.

Eligibilit: Applicants must be young professionals or fresh graduates aged between 21 to 32 years as on the date of commencement of the programme.

How to apply: Online.

Details: Rs 15,000 p.m., with contingency allowance and Rs 30,000 upon completion of the programme.

Rotary Peace Fellowships

Rotary Foundation offers opportunity to dedicated and bright professionals to study at Rotary Peace Centres through its peace fellowship programme. The programme offers 100 fellowships with a purpose to create leaders to become catalysts for peace and conflict prevention, with 50 fellowships for post- graduation and 50 for certificate courses for upcoming aspirants for NGOs, the military, law enforcement, and international organisations like the United Nations and World Bank.

Eligibility: For post-graduation: The applicant must be a graduate with proficiency in English and a second language.

Applicants for certificate course must have strong academic background, plus five years of full-time related work experience.

How to apply: Only online applications are accepted.

Details: Tuition fees, accommodation, transportation, other expenses will be taken care of.

Kyushu University Friendship Scholarships Japan

Kyushu University, Japan is offering scholarships to international students with an aim to foster future leaders to cultivate joint research and bring external capital for global education aspirants.

Eligibility: Graduates or post- graduates who are eligible to take admission in schools of Kyushu university as listed in Visa part.

CSIR-IGIB Fellowship

CSIR-IGIB invites applications from bright young individuals from diverse backgrounds to pursue research in the frontier areas of modern biology leading to a Ph.D. degree. The broad interdisciplinary research areas are genomics and molecular medicine, genome informatics and structural biology, chemical and systems biology, respiratory disease biology and environmental biotechnology.

Eligibility: Post- graduates with 60 per cent in any branch of life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science or allied and not more than 28 years of age.
