Tel Aviv University summer programme

Tel Aviv University (TAU), in Israel has announced its summer programmes in Smart Cities, Food Safety and Security. 

Eligibility: The applications are open for candidates pursuing under-graduation and post-graduation, having minimum 80 per cent in their previous examination. 

Details: Partial scholarship of up to 65 per cent is given on the total cost of tuition, dormitory and medical insurance.

HDFC Bank educational crisis scholarship  

HDFC Bank has announced this scholarship for students who are economically challenged and are victims of the crisis in their family. The programme is aimed at financially aiding them in continuing their education at a critical time and reducing dropout rates from schools.

Eligibility: Class VI to XII, undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral students pursuing any full-time, part-time course, ITI, diploma, polytechnic, PhD course from recognized institutions and facing any family crisis (orphaned, terminal illness/death of earning member, physical disability etc.) since last three years or less.

Details: Rs 10,000 as the one-time amount to selected school students and Rs 25,000 to selected university, ITI, Diploma and Polytechnic students.

Ujjwal Bhavishya scholarship

V-Mart is inviting meritorious students of Class X from economically disadvantaged families to get scholarships for continuing their studies. The scholarship is aiming to help students who have either been forced to discontinue studies or are facing financial constraints for higher education.

Eligibility: Indian students between the age group of 14-16 years who have passed Class X with more than 75 per cent  marks in 2019 and have a total family income of Rs 2 lakh per annum may apply for this scholarship.

Details: Selected scholars will be awarded with Rs 10,000 each to continue their education. Few selected scholars may get upto Rs 20,000 scholarship as well.

Young Women In Science Scholarship

L'Oréal India is providing scholarships to young women who wish to pursue their graduation in any field of science from a recognised institute in India. 

Eligibility: Female candidates who have passed Class XII with 85 per cent  in PCB/PCM/PCMB in the academic year (2018-19) are eligible to apply. Annual family income of the applicant should be less thanRs 4 lakh and she must not be more than 19 years of age.
