Baalveer 2.0

Award-winning actor and nation’s favourite superhero, Dev Joshi is back with Baalveer Returns on Sony SAB
Baalveer 2.0

What made you take up Baalveer once again?

The character of Baalveer is really special to me as it has earned me love and respect from all over the world. I was recently honoured with Pradhanmantri Baal Shakti Puraskar for Art and Culture by the President of India for the positivity I was able to spread in the society with the role of Baalveer.

What can viewers expect from Baalveer Returns?

The entire feel and look of the show is different and a lot of thought and effort has been put into Baalveer Returns to bring the mystical world of Kaal Lok and Veer Lok to life. The viewers can expect grandeur and larger than life visuals weaved beautifully in a gripping storyline that is essayed by a promising cast.

How different will be your character in Baalveer Returns?

Baalveer has grown up and he understands the onus of the responsibilities on him to save the world. Not just the kids, even teenagers will also relate and enjoy the show this time.

Any changes in costumes and gadgets?

My costume, gadgets and weapons are upgraded to fight a much powerful enemy this time. Although the costume is elaborate but it has been beautifully designed to be stunt friendly and comfortable. I was really excited when I first saw the costume.

If you actually were a superhero, what would you like to change in this world?

If I had real superpowers like Baalveer, I will contribute by eradicating terrorism from the world.

What are your future plans?

I want to become a successful actor, director and producer. There is a saying that – “Past is dead, future is unknown and present is to live.” So, not thinking too much about future, I just want to give my best work to my audience.
