Khamano, April 16

The police claimed to have arrested a person, who was declared a proclaimed offender (PO) by the Khamano court, in 2015. The accused was identified as Bhinder Singh, a resident of Hedon village.

While giving more information, the Khamano Station House Officer, Shamsher Singh, said a police party led by ASI Parjinder Singh apprehended the accused near the local bus stand.

The accused was declared proclaimed offender in connection with a complaint of Surinder Singh of Farour village as he had failed to appear before the court in 2015.

The accused was presented in the court from where he was sent to 14 days judicial custody in Nabha Jail.
