Woman, paramour booked for killing husband

Muktsar: A woman and her paramour have been booked for killing her husband at Khunan Kalan village here five days ago. The accused, Sompal Kaur and Gurpinder Singh, allegedly threw the body of Baljinder Singh (28) into the Rajasthan Feeder canal. It was recovered last evening. 

The Sadar Malout police have registered a case of murder against four persons and started investigation. The accused are on the run Sources said besides Sompal Kaur, another woman was involved in the crime. Rajinder Singh, brother of the deceased, lodged a complaint with the police stating that Baljinder Singh was missing since April 14 evening. The police said during the preliminary investigation, they found that Baljinder's wife Sompal Kaur was in an illicit relationship with Gurpinder Singh and they hatched the conspiracy to eliminate her husband. Gurpinder too had some dispute with his wife. TNS
