Aadhaar Pay App to be made compulsory

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has said BHIM Aadhaar Pay App will be made compulsory for the state government employees. 

He was speaking at Digi Dhan Mela organised at his office here today. He further said efforts would be made to adopt cashless transactions and everyone should contribute towards the cashless initiatives started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Rawat said digitalisation of the economy would not only strengthen the country economically but would also help curb corruption, besides promoting national security. 

Trivendra Singh Rawat  said Digi Dhan Mela was the need of the hour

and there was need to adopt cashless system towards establishing a cashless society.

Chief Minister Rawat said “Bhim: Aadhaar pay app” had been adopted on the birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar who advocated equality and equal opportunities

He hoped the cashless initiative would become a historic step for the Indian economy and every possible step was being taken to ensure cashless system in Uttarakhand.
