Shreiya Katoch,Head Girl

Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sidhpur, is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of the town. It is indeed a matter of honour for me to be the Head Girl of my school and I am thankful to my reverend Principal Sister Molly Cherian and my esteemed teachers to have given me this chance to serve my institution. I have been a part of this school for the past 13 years and I am proud to be a Sacred Heartian.

This is the final year of my school life and an important one. As the Head Girl, I shall strive hard to fulfil all my responsibilities and perform my duties sincerely.

Maintenance of discipline in the school is the most important task and it is my duty to ensure that the students conduct themselves in a disciplined manner.

Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School is run by the Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary. This school is renowned not just for its quality education but also for its co-curricular activities. The motto of our school is ‘Cor Unum Anima Una, which means ‘One Heart, One Soul’. Our school aims at all-round development of an individual. Moral science classes in the school are aimed at instilling moral values in the students, so that they learn to respect everyone. Moral values form an integral part of our institution and the endeavour aims at making its students responsible citizens of the nation.

“Life’s battles don’t always go to the stronger or the faster man. But sooner or later, the man who wins is the man who thinks he can”. I am ready to face all the stumbling blocks in my way with courage and determination. I will try my best to assist the students in their problems.

I am thankful to my teachers and my parents for supporting me and boosting my spirit always. Their relentless efforts have made me what I am today. I’m proud of my school and shall cherish the values that have been taught to me here always.
